What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is a non-surgical body contouring treatment that reduces fat in targeted areas by exposing fat cells to freezing temperatures to destroy them, a process known as Cryolipolysis. Once the fat cells have been destroyed, the body metabolizes them and eliminates them through its natural waste removal processes.
What are the benefits of CoolSculpting?

How many treatment sessions will I need?
The number of treatment sessions needed to see the best results of CoolSculpting treatments can vary from patient to patient. We typically recommend a series of one to three treatment sessions to start off. Some patients may require additional treatment sessions to achieve their desired results depending on the area being treated.
Common treatment areas:
- Love handles
What results can I expect?
Most of our patients see the final results of CoolSculpting approximately two to four months after their treatment sessions. You may begin to experience a noticeable improvement in the treated area(s) as soon as three weeks following their treatment. Some patients may require multiple treatment sessions in order to achieve your treatment goals. Individual results may vary from patient to patient.
Are there any potential side effects?
You could experience some mild side effects like minor bruising, swelling, tingling or numbness, and/or redness in the treated area immediately after your treatment session. These temporary side effects usually resolve on their own within one week of your CoolSculpting treatment session.
Am I a candidate?
Men and women who are at or near their ideal weight and are interested in a non-surgical, non-invasive body contouring treatment to reduce stubborn fat deposits are potential candidates for CoolSculpting. Before beginning your treatment, a member of our medical team will discuss your treatment goals with you and review your overall health to determine if CoolSculpting is the right fat reduction treatment for you. CoolSculpting is not intended to be used for weight loss and is more effective in patients who are close to their ideal body weight.
